My Sister

By smithdm3 - Posted on 23 March 2003

So a while back I raved about my brother. Well, I wanted to make sure my sister gets equal treatment. My sister is quite a trooper. I mean, I know it's tough following in my footsteps everywhere ;) But seriously, my sister is nearing the end (3 months to go) of a 10 month stint of teaching in China.
Of all people I know, my sister would have been pretty close to last if I'd had to name a list of people who'd move to China. But she's made sure that she seized the bull by the proverbial horns and took the opportunity when it presented itself. My sister is an amazing teacher, and I know that her students in China are benefiting greatly from her intelligence and patience as will the students she'll have throughout her life.
Again, I haven't told my sister how proud I am of her, but I really am (as is my entire family.).. even though she does leave me drunken messages when she's partying in Macau. :)

(Oh, and I'll make sure to tell her in person the next time I talk to her)
