Dougie Comes Home

Well, at least the Leafs didn't get fleeced today... like the Wings did. Man did they ever give up way too much for Mathieu Schneider.

Ah well... they landed Gilmour... he'll be character in the dressing room and can hopefully bring a little bit of checking and faceoff wins.

Now Housley... hmm... not sure about this one. Phil will bring some offensive flair to the Leafs powerplay...but they did pay a fourth and ninth round pick for him (compared to Gilmour who only cost them a sixth). Both are 39 and unrestricted at the end of the season so they won't be around for too long.

We'll have to see how things go.
