East Trip Photos
So I put up my photos from my trip out east with my friend Jen at the beginning of this month, but I only linked them from my comment to my initial thread saying I would put them up. I haven't commented them, but will sometime in the future. My only regret is that I didn't take _ANY_ pictures of my family! Drat! I will have to make sure to visit and _USE_ my camera next year. :)
Land of the Not-So-Free, And Home of the Narrow-Minded
Hmm... So G-Dubya thinks that marriage is a union between a man and a woman - and has lawyers in his administration looking at ways to ensure it remains that way. (from CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/07/30/bush.gay.marriage/index.html)
You know, I love how our neighbours to the south like to consider themselves the land of the free and home of the brave. It seems to me a lot of the time that they are the land of the narrow-minded and home of the xenophobic.
Congrats Rob!
Rob Sample is employed again! Yay Rob!
Boris told me that he got a job working at a company that makes digital cameras... called Luminera or something, but I couldn't 'Google' them. Then after consulting my "Ottawa 2003 Technology Industry Guide", I discovered they are actually called Lumetrix and make light and colour sensing cameras ... or something like that...
Anyway... Congrats Rob!
Edit: Okay... I've now been corrected... the name is Lumenera... Sorry for doubting you Boris... but come on ... Lumenera, Lumetrix.... So close... :)

Eeek...
Nothing here... must write something.
Well, I just got back from an amazing two week vacation. The vacation started off with a day at the beach here in Ottawa, then Canada Day, and then my friend Jen and I heading out east to do some sightseeing and visit some relatives and friends we both have down there.
