15 miles... on the treadmill

Well, with a blustery day outside, and no one to run with (I'm sure I could have found someone to run some of the distance with - but didn't bother trying really), I decided to do my 15 miles on the treadmill.

I did it pretty slowly, with lots of walking breaks in the last 4 miles or so. But really, that's okay, finishing the marathon (which is still a distinct possibility) will be satisfaction enough for me. If it takes me five hours, it'll take me five hours. At least I'll be able to say that I did it.

The run was pretty good, my legs aren't too sore today, but my toes were really sore yesterday. The best part of finishing my long run is knowing that there isn't more running til Tuesday :) This coming Saturday is 16 miles, but hopefully Kev will be around to do that with.

Yep Dave - I'll definitely be around for this Saturdays run. Looking forward to it actually.

As the subject of this comment suggests - you did way better than me last week. The week started out ok - I did my run on Tuesday (on the beach) but then skipped my Wednesday run. I also did my Thursday run (again on the beach) but then skipped the big one on Saturday. I was a bit hungover and couldn't force myself out of bed in the morning.

Anyways, like I said - looking forward to this weekend's long run.
